FILSCAP Campus Caravan goes to Colegio De San Juan De Letran with our composer lecturer Jazz Nicolas. You would have probably recognized him as the drummer and vocalist of Itchyworms but did you know that he is also the composer of most of the band's hit songs, such as "Akin Ka Na Lang", "Beer", and many more? In 2016, his song "Di Na Muli" which was co-written with Wally Acolola and performed by Itchyworms even won grand prize at the PHILPOP Music Festival.

Did you know that he wasn't really a fan of drinking beer? You might be wondering then what would be the inspiration behind the hit song "Beer"? So here's the story behind its creation...
His writing style was actually different back then when his dad gave him an advice to try writing songs that Filipinos can join in and sing, he started searching for Filipino songs and came back to Kundiman as his inspiration.
To top of this amazing experience, he had a jamming session with a chorale singer student and performed "Di Na Muli". 👏👏
